The battle of Basiani was fought, in the 13th century, between the armies of the Kingdom of Georgia and the Seljuq Sultanate of Rumin on Basiani valley.
It was one of the greatest battles in the history of Georgia, with 65 K Georgian soldiers fighting against 150 K Seljuks.
Brandies from the Basiani collection are produced by blending spirits that are distilled from 10 wines.
The main structure and body of the drink are sourced from oakwood, together with wine distilled spirit from Rkatsiteli grape variety, which represents the main part of total volume.
Together with Rkatsiteli, the brandy aroma and tasting palette is enriched with the wine-distilled spirit from 8 Georgian and 1 international grape varieties.
